Shade Drums are two metal drums with a sound bar crossing their radius.

The drums are connected to an adjustable bracket for mounting in a drum set (in line or side by side).

The sound bar produces a sound between that of chimes and a steel drum. The drums are tuned from middle C to the octave above.
